Paris - Heart Of The World

Catch The PLANE & get INSANE

A trip to Paris - Heart Of The World was a Christmas gift from Aunt in 2013 ❤️

Let me introduce you to today's journey with my poem.

"On the way to Paris"

Three meters under the sky - on the way to Paris.

Entering heaven, the cloud bows down.

Within arm's reach, a downy layer;

In the world of dreams, reality hides.

- Catalina Stefańska

A bit further, 25 miles from Paris, lies the Palace of Versailles, a must-see marvel expanded during the reign of Louis XIV.

Sayings like "à la Versailles" or "elegance à la française" originated here.

The best transport from Paris is the train — affordable and fast.

How to travel in Paris

I used the HOP-ON HOP-OFF bus throughout the day,

and I think it's the best way to get around Paris.

A 24-hour ticket costs around 20€.

⇩ ⇩ ⇩

You can also rent a bike, but you might not see much in just one day.

Daily bike rentals are around 15-20€.

People in Paris

During this one day, I noticed that Parisians carry themselves with a sense of superiority,

and quite a bit of it. They can be impolite, and if we don't speak their language they'll say

"Speak French", lift their heads, and that's it – an offense.

The nicest Parisians I met were in one of the less affluent neighborhoods.

Employees of small shops, as well as passersby, were very kind and willing to help.

man with a crown

Morning coffee and dinner taste different here 💕☕

A cup of favorite coffee alone, a book, and relax...

I was surprised by how soothing it can be; sitting in a café on a busy street and observing the pace that's hard to keep up with.

This city truly ignites inspiration!

I highly recommend everyone to stop at a café with a garden or choose a table by the window and surrender to a moment with coffee or another drink.
